The world premiere of Always a Little Bit Tipsy will take place in Bloomington, Indiana this September! Based on the topsy-turvy life of world-champion ballroom dancer and drag artist Tom Slater (a.k.a. Tipsy Teasedale) the all-new original musical, Always a Little Bit Tipsy, explores survival, masculinity, and the healing power of drag. This is a story about the violence of small shames, the masks we build to survive, and the radical act of becoming whole.

Whether you’re a seasoned bourbon enthusiast or simply looking for a unique night out, this special Mansion After Hours experience offers the perfect opportunity to sip, savor, and socialize in one of Michigan City’s most beautiful historic settings.Guests are also invited to enjoy a self-guided tour of Barker Mansion throughout the evening, and weather permitting, may stroll through the historic Jens Jensen Garden.

Monroe County Humane Association's 31st Annual Run for the Animals, presented by The Dog House is a timed 5K run/walk at Karst Farm Park taking place on Sunday, October 4, 2026. Each registration includes an official Run for the Animals t-shirt and sponsor swag.
The 5K course starts at Karst Farm Park and loops through the Monroe County Fairgrounds. The awards ceremony and sponsor booths are now located near the start/finish line, making it easier for participants and families to celebrate together—and for faster results posting! After the awards, stick around for the raffles and fan-favorite pet contests! You don't have to be registered in the 5K to participate in the raffle and pet contests!
