The BMA Faith for Racial Equity team invites you to join together on Sunday, January 18, 3-5pm for an empowering conversation with Milagros Phillips, author of “Cracking the Healer’s Code: A Prescription for Healing Racism & Finding Wholeness.” Bring your questions regarding race-related matters, what keeps you up at night, and ideas for how we can take action to heal racism. This event will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church (2120 N. Fee Ln, Bloomington). Given where we are as a nation, gathering together for healing is more important than ever.

WonderLab will be open on Martin Luther King Day with half-priced admission. While visiting, WonderLab will be having a Diaper Drive and Sock drive. Give back by donating diapers sizes 3-6, wipes and socks. Donation boxes for both drives will be available to the front desk from December 2, 2025 to January 19, 2026, during WonderLab’s open hours. The Bloomington Peace Choir (BPC) invites you to join us as we sing in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Monroe County Public Library, 303 E. Kirkwood Avenue in Bloomington, IN on January 19, 2026 at 10:30am in the library atrium. BPC is a local chorus promoting peace and compassion in our communities through song. Let’s come together.
Join the City of Bloomington for the 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration event on Monday, January 19, 2026 at the Buskirk Chumley Theater. This year’s theme "Soul, Spirit, and Sacrifice: Honoring the Legacy of Coretta Scott King and the Women Who Faced America to Save U.S.," will feature community leaders, a performance by world-renown mezzo-soprano Marietta Simpson, and an inspiring keynote speech from Dr. Traci Parker.

Baby Brilliance is a weekly program for infants / pre-walkers and their caregivers. Each week participants will explore themes related to infant development. Inspired by the book, “Experimenting with Babies,” by Shaun Gallagher.
Recommended Ages Infants / pre-walkers and their caregivers - walkers should attend Discovery Time for more appropriate content. Older siblings are always welcome.
