Snow, Light Freezing Rain Expected This Afternoon

Two inches of snow along with light freezing rain is expected this afternoon until Friday morning for south central Indiana.

National Weather Service officials are issuing a Winter Weather Advisory from 4:00 p.m. Thursday until 10:00 a.m. Friday.

Forecasters say ice is more likely tonight into Friday morning. 

Indiana Department of Transportation truck drivers are pretreating highways and plan to call out more than 200 drivers by 3:00 p.m.

Officials are warning motorists to slow down and allow more time to travel.
