Legislators plan to return to the statehouse on June 17 for a one-day session to fix mistakes in two new laws before they take effect.
House Speaker Brian Bosma says a bill governing the tax credit for trucks that run on natural gas inadvertently raised taxes on other alternative fuels.
He also says adjustments to the sentences for shoplifting and some drug offenses in the rewrite of Indiana‘s criminal code mistakenly moved the penalties in the wrong direction.
