Temperatures Rising In An Unusually Cool Summer

National Weather Service Meteorologist Jason Puma said this summer has been unseasonably cool across Indiana due to Canadian air coming down and settling in the Ohio Valley.

However, that's not the case this week and through the weekend.

Puma said high temperatures should reach into the low 90's, and high humidity will linger. The heat index will be in the mid to upper 90's.

He also said the unseasonably cool summer doesn't necessarily mean fall and winter will be cool. He says it's far too early to predict.
