State Police Receive Federal Funds To Combat Meth

Indiana State Police are receiving more than $500,000 in federal grant money to fight the state's methamphetamine problem.

The funds will enable state law enforcement to investigate activities related to the manufacturing and distribution of methamphetamine.

The $567,000 comes from Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Anti-Methamphetamine Program.

Indiana is one of ten states receiving the federal funding.
