The 2015 men's Little 500 race has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 26 at 2 p.m., the Indiana University Student Foundation announced Friday night.
"The safety of our riders, volunteers and fans is our top concern," the foundation said in a tweet.
The National Weather Service has called for rain Saturday, and that includes chances of thunder and lightning in the afternoon and evening.

Often named the "World's Greatest College Weekend," Little 500 race weekend hosted by the Indiana University Student Foundation is underway.
Tune in to Noon Edition Friday to learn more about the race's impact on Bloomington.
Last year the Black Key Bulls took first place in the 64th Annual Men's race. But as the team crossed the finish line, there wasn't the usual roar from the crowd. Between turns three and four of the final lap, 199, Beta Theta Pi (1st Place 2013) crashed, taking out six of the seven front runners.
