Headlines: February 12, 2016

Good morning! Here are some of the stories we're following from around the state:

1. The city of Bloomington is still trying to recover funds embezzled by former workers.

Bloomington has been the victim of various embezzlers, and has recovered less than one third of the money that was stolen.

2. An expectant mother from Carmel, Indiana is traveling to Brazil despite Zika concerns. 

Although Zika is especially concerning for pregnancies, Carla Hipskind is traveling to Brazil to see her terminally ill father.

3. A judge today will be hearing arguments in the lawsuit against Gov. Mike Pence. 

The American Civil Liberties Union is suing Gov. Mike Pence over his decision to bar state agencies from participating in the resettlement of Syrian refugees in Indiana.
