Bloomington Disinfectant Byproduct Levels Drop In December

Dininfectant byproduct levels in Bloomington's water continued to fall at the end of 2016.

In a statement, Utilitities Director Vic Kelson said, "December values are the lowest system wide average values since we began our systematic measurement program in March 2003."

The city has been taking a  multi-faceted approach to addressing the DBPs in Bloomington's water which include changes to how the water is chlorinated.
