Attorney General Greg Zoeller dropped out of the race before it was called.
Zoeller spoke to voters at a campaign event in his hometown of Sellersburg, saying he enjoyed running in this primary even if he doesn't go forward in the race.
"I picked one that's probably going to go down in some political science history book. It's one of the most remarkable," Zoeller says.
Zoeller is wrapping up his second term as attorney general. The Republican previously worked for former Senator and Vice President Dan Quayle.
