ILEARN testing begins, Film premieres at West Baden | Indiana Newsdesk

Right now on  Indiana Newsdesk:

ILEARN testing begins this month and educators are eager to find out the impact of two-years of online, hybrid and in-person learning on kids. Last year, less than 30 percent of students in grades three through eight passed both the English and math portions of the test.

More than 300 trees will soon begin being planted in Bloomington. The city took pains to target under-served areas for planting. The city is spending nearly $200,000 on the tree canopy project.

And, a Bloomington author made sure the screen adaptation of his book was filmed at the historic West Baden Springs Hotel.

Those stories and the latest news headlines from across the state, right now on  Indiana Newsdesk.
