The MADD 3v3 Basketball Tournament is a community-based event that brings together local teams, families, and supporters for a fun and competitive day of basketball, all while supporting a meaningful cause. Hosted by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), the tournament helps raise funds to support MADD’s mission to end drunk and drugged driving, support victims and survivors, and prevent underage drinking. Proceeds from the event benefit victim advocacy services, educational programs, and community awareness initiatives that promote safer roads. The tournament is more than just basketball, it’s an opportunity for the community to come together, promote responsible choices, and make a positive impact. We will also be honoring local law enforcement for going above and beyond in OWI arrest and assisting in crashes. There will be a speaker on how MADD has made an impact on their family. Texas Roadhouse will be catering the event for those who attend.

Come preserve a memory of spring by making a Pocket Flower Press at the Wylie house museum. Theophilus Wylie and his family regularly pressed flowers and sent the specimens to one another as keepsakes. Records of this exist in the letters- many reference Anton Wylie and his father Hermann Boisen sending leaves and flowers while Hermann was away on trips.
