Join us for an evening with author, athlete, and weightlifting and sports performance coach Wil Fleming in celebration of his new book, Strong Mind.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Strong Mind is a practical guide to the mental side of performance—from the training hall to the competition platform and beyond. Written by international weightlifting and high-performance mindset coach Wil Fleming, this book bridges sport psychology and real-world coaching to help athletes build confidence, focus, and resilience when it matters most.
Inside, you’ll learn the same mental training tools Wil has used with Olympians, world champions, and national medalists, including goal setting, visualization, pre-performance routines, self-talk, and the Fix-It Framework for bouncing back after setbacks.
Each chapter pairs clear explanations with actionable strategies, reflective prompts, and real athlete stories to help you develop your own Strong Mind system. Whether you’re chasing a PR or coaching someone who is, this book will help you train your mind with the same intention and discipline you bring to your body.

Join the Wylie House Museum for a free, family-friendly, all-ages activity in the Morton C Bradley education center! Cold temperatures are very important for some of our native plant species! They need something called "cold stratification" to root and bloom in the spring. Join us to make native seed paper you can plant now (or give to a friend!) to prep for spring and summer flowers.
