The historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater marquee was damaged. Jonah Crismore, executive director of the theater, said it looks like somebody threw a bottle at the marquee last week, leaving a hole.

A false message was sent to Vigo County School Corporation families about in-person classes being cancelled. “I think there is so much uncertainty in our world right now that unfortunately someone wanted to cause chaos,” said Bill Riley, Vigo County School Corporation Director of Communications, in response to the message sent to VCSC families on Tuesday.
